By participating in the Contest, each Entrant agrees to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules, the Dirty Artists Terms and Conditions, and the Privacy Policy (available at dirtyartists.com), and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects.

7. VOTING
During the Voting Period, registered users of the Website may vote for Submissions. Voting requires a registered account. Each individual may register only one (1) account and may cast votes only personally. The use of bots, scripts, automated tools, multiple accounts, vote-buying, vote-exchange schemes, or any other artificial means to generate votes is strictly prohibited and will result in the voiding of affected votes and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, disqualification of the associated Entrant.
Any attempt by an Entrant, Designated Agent, or their family or supporters to use fraudulent mechanisms to unfairly affect the outcome, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, shall give Sponsor the right to disqualify the Entrant.
8. SELECTION OF WINNER
Winner selection will occur in two stages:
PERFORMANCE ROUND: During the Contest Period, the Contest platform will track each Submission’s online activity, including votes and engagement, using a ranking algorithm. At the close of the Voting Period, the platform will identify the twenty (20) Entrants with the highest ranking (the “Top 20”). Each Entrant in the Top 20 whose Submission meets the Submission Requirements is guaranteed to have their Submission reviewed by the Judging Panel in the Finalist Round. In the event the Judging Panel, in its sole discretion, believes it needs to draw from a larger pool, it reserves the right to review additional Entrants. Entrants will not be notified if they are being judged, and the Top 20 will not be publicly announced.
FINALIST ROUND: Following the close of the Voting Period, a judging panel composed of members of the Dirty Mondays team (the “Judging Panel”) will review and judge the Top 20 Submissions and select one (1) Winner based on the Judging Criteria below. The Winner will be selected on or about September 15, 2026.
JUDGING CRITERIA: (i) musical originality; (ii) live performance quality and stage presence; (iii) skill and technical ability of the musicians; (iv) emotional and creative quality of the music; and (v) entertainment value and audience appeal.
THE DECISIONS OF THE JUDGING PANEL AND SPONSOR ARE FINAL AND BINDING AS TO ALL ENTRANTS AND DESIGNATED AGENTS.
9. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION
The potential Winner will be notified on or about September 15, 2026, by telephone and/or email using the contact information provided during registration. The potential Winner will be required to execute and return (i) an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability/Publicity and (ii) any additional documentation reasonably required by Sponsor (collectively, the “Releases”) within five (5) calendar days of notification.
A potential Winner who (a) fails to execute and return the Releases within the required time period; (b) cannot be reached after reasonable attempts; (c) is unavailable to perform at Dirty Fest on October 16, 2026; or (d) is found to have violated these Official Rules or to be ineligible, will be disqualified and forfeit the prize, and Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate Winner from among the remaining Top 20 Entrants based on the Judging Criteria.
Following verification, the Winner will be announced publicly on the Website and on Dirty Mondays channels.
10. PRIZE
ONE (1) PRIZE: A performance slot for the winning band at Dirty Fest in Los Angeles, California on October 16, 2026. The specific stage, set time, and set duration are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the performance slot: the performance slot has no retail value and no cash value.
TRANSPORTATION, LODGING, MEALS, EQUIPMENT, PARKING, AND ALL OTHER COSTS AND EXPENSES NOT EXPRESSLY LISTED ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
Sponsor may, at its discretion, add additional prizes provided by sponsors or partners. Any additional prizes will be announced by means of a prize addendum posted on the Website prior to or during the Contest Period, and will be governed by these Official Rules and the terms of such addendum.
The Winner (or, where applicable, each band member individually) is solely responsible for any taxes on the prize. If required by law, the Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the year in which the prize is awarded. No cash equivalent or substitution of the prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. The prize is non-transferable. If the prize cannot be awarded for any reason beyond Sponsor’s control (including cancellation or rescheduling of Dirty Fest), Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value (such as a performance slot at another Dirty Mondays event), and no compensation will be owed.
ALL PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED.
11. GRANT OF RIGHTS
By submitting a Submission and entering the Contest, Entrants and Designated Agents acknowledge that the Submission may be posted publicly on the Website for voting and promotional purposes, and grant to Sponsor a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right and license to use, display, distribute, reproduce, host, transmit, publish, and publicly perform the Submission, and the band’s name, hometown, entry information, photographs, images, voices, and likenesses of band members, in connection with the Contest, the Dirty Artists platform, and Dirty Mondays events, in any manner and in any media now existing or later developed, including in advertising and promotional materials, without additional notice, attribution, or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Entrants and Designated Agents warrant and represent that their entry into the Contest and/or winning of the prize does not and will not violate the terms of any agreement to which they are a party, including any music publishing, distribution, recording, production, or union agreement.
Entrants and Designated Agents will, jointly and severally, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to the Submission, the Entrant’s participation in the Contest, or Sponsor’s exercise of the rights granted herein.
The Winner acknowledges and agrees that the Dirty Fest performance may be recorded by Sponsor in audio and/or video formats, and that Sponsor shall own all rights to such recordings and may use them, in whole or in part, for any lawful purpose without further notice or compensation.
12. GENERAL TERMS
Sponsor has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and screen entries and Entrant accounts. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical failures, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or terminate the Contest or any portion thereof. In the event of early termination, judging will be conducted from among the eligible Submissions received prior to termination using the selection process described above.
Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry or voting methods will void all affected Submissions and votes.
Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsor reserves the right to make changes or additions to these Official Rules and/or change the dates of the Contest at any time, with notice posted on the Website.
THE ENFORCEMENT AND INTERPRETATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY DETERMINED BY SPONSOR IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION. ALL ENTRANTS AND DESIGNATED AGENTS AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL SUCH DETERMINATIONS, WHICH ARE FINAL AND NON-APPEALABLE.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE
Sponsor and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, promotional supporters, prize providers, and each of their respective officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for: (i) technical problems or malfunctions of any kind, including hardware or software errors, faulty or unavailable network connections, garbled or intercepted transmissions, failure of any email to be received, inability to upload or access the Website, or unauthorized intervention such as hacking or viruses; (ii) typographical or other errors in the announcement of prizes or these Official Rules; (iii) acts of God, work stoppages, or other events beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control; or (iv) any personal injury, property damage, or losses of any kind which may be sustained by any person in connection with participation in the Contest, attendance at or performance at Dirty Fest, or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
By entering the Contest, Entrants and Designated Agents (on their own behalf and on behalf of their heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns) waive, release, and discharge the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, damages, or liability arising out of or relating to participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activity, or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
By entering the Contest, Entrants and Designated Agents acknowledge that they are familiar with the provisions of California Civil Code Section 1542, which provides as follows:
“A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS THAT THE CREDITOR OR RELEASING PARTY DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER, WOULD HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR RELEASED PARTY.”
Entrants and Designated Agents hereby expressly waive and relinquish any rights and benefits under California Civil Code Section 1542, and under any similar statute or common law principle of any jurisdiction, to the fullest extent permitted by law, with respect to the releases set forth in these Official Rules.
